It is a Togo vegan place with delicious bento box at amazing price. My mom who is vegan always asks me to stop by whenever I am visiting her to grab her a bento box. They do take credit card (used to be cash only). They also have a lot of frozen food for sale.

I saw someone said the restaurant’s level is “c”. Last week I went into the store and asked the owner due to I remember last year her restaurant is “A”. Owner said : 3 months ago ,she went back to Taiwan for family visit about one-month trip and temporarily closed the restaurant. On the same day when she’s back to USA and the health department came in and gave her the “C“. Poor of her even didn’t get enough time to clean the place. She’s really bad luck. And after the health department Re-checked she got permit to re-open the restaurant but the department couldn’t change the level back. She needs wait until the next time’s check up! Poor of her!!! She told me she got Level A for 15 years ! And, she let me to check the kitchen to verify it’s really clean. The restaurant’s food is yummy and I will not consider about the level mark now. I will continue to buy food at here like my family kitchen. And I was been told by one of my friend he own a restaurant at Monterey Park city. He told me if the place not been passed the health department will not allow the restaurant to run their business and their details check-up is very strictly. From my heart, I thought it’s good to check-up the place for giving the place the second chance for delicious food. Anyway I will continue to buy her food.

Great Buddhist monk style food. Not much English spoken here...nice owner. Limited to combo plate of the day...you get what she gives you...always vegan goodness. Some pre-made stuff in the freezer/fridge case.

I went for fried rice noodle but I think their menu rotates. They had veggie Spaghetti and it was tasty with a great flavor and my favorite veggies. I was just sad I couldn't try the rice noodle. Lady who helped me was kind and let me try a jelly.

My first time here and this food was delicious, generous portions, and best of all vegetarian. I highly recommend this place.

My new fav restaurant! The food is very authentic(Taiwanese) and all the ingredients are very fresh. The food there doesn't have the "soy taste" that lots of vegetarian/vegan food would have. The bento there is a steal!(price, taste, quantity). They also have lots of refrigerated /frozen vegetarian product you can get. Highly recommended!

The BEST mung bean mooncakes!! Not too sweet and no preservatives, handmade daily. Better quality and more affordable than supermarkets and bakeries. Vegetarian bento meals are also delicious. The owner is also a very nice lady. Coming here is like shopping at the wet market in Taiwan.

I came in like 2:00 pm and was lucky enough to get the last bento. Because it was the last bento and missing some vegetables, I got double veggie made chicken fillet and the owner made even better that it only cost me $5. Look at the size of the bento lunch box! It is huge!! I am a regular at this restaurant and the portion are big but very well balanced for daily nutrition! If you are a vegetarian, try it and you will love it!
